The shells of Essens suitcases are made with at least 70% recycled polypropylene from post-consumer waste such as yoghurt cups, while the interior lining and interior webbing are made with 97% and 100% post-consumer recycled PET respectively, part of our Recyclex™ Material Technology Initiative. The coating and backing are made with virgin materials. With our Essens suitcase shells, single use plastic waste is turned into durable, lightweight and strong luggage, without any compromise on quality.

Engineered and made in Europe, Essens is one of the lightest 3-point lock polypropylene cases in its class. The exceptional weight is obtained via the self-reinforcing design, high-tech production method and revolutionary polypropylene mix. The unique rim construction and seal not only deliver incredible strength but also limit water penetration. Even while being among the lightest, Essens suitcases pass the rigorous strength tests that Samsonite is known for and offer an immense high packing capacity.

Essens has two voluminous packing cubes which are removable, hand-washable and easy to lift and carry thanks to the carry handles on either side. Flexibility in packing guaranteed as you can store items in and below the packing cubes and alter the height thanks to the bayonet system. If you don’t feel like unpacking, simply lift and put the entire packing cube in your closet.
